Welcome to the SWC website. With the role out of the vaccine programme moving at a fantastic pace, we will hopefully be back to some sort of normality by June and able to start our meetings again at Slimbridge. We meet on the second Saturday of the month. If you visit Slimbridge on one of those days then please come and pay us a visit. We are a friendly lot and you will be most welcome. A list of proposed dates can be found on the Whats On Page. In the mean time please browse our site and enjoy the Articles, information and photographs. If you require any information please use the Contact form at the bottom of this page.

Results of Garden Blackcaps Study

Picture

Our Chairman, Roger Francis took part in the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO) study of Blackcaps in our gardens. The results of the study have now been published and make for very interesting reading. Click the link below to see the full article. Roger does get a deserved mention in the notes section, well done Rog!
