I carve in two locations, my garage or the preferred option a bench seat in the garden.
I usually carve at my work bench which is in the garage, I have a work station, where I have a foredom (although I much prefer carving with a knife or chisels) a micromotor and pyrograph are both permanently setup,  I have  dust extraction via a razair. I have always carved standing up but find I can no longer do this hence the stool. Unfortunately there is no heating in the garage so in winter it’s a case of no carving or wrapping up accordingly. Although I have installed LED lighting I still prefer to carve sat outside on the bench in the garden where the light is so much better.
