Mike O'Sullivan

Mike has lived most of his life in Bristol and spent much of his time as a boy admiring the bird collection in Bristol museum. In the early nineties he visited his Uncle in Canada and was fascinated with the Decoy Ducks his uncle had carved. Thus inspired Mike started his carving career in 1990 and became a founder member of the Severn Wildlife Carvers. He is also a member of the British Decoy and Wildfowl Carving Association (BDWCA) and over the years has won 14 rosettes at various BDWCA competitions. Such is his experience and knowledge that he has been invited to judge on a number of occasions.
He first entered the World Championships in 1995 and has won 18 ribbons over the intervening years. He has also exhibited at various other exhibitions
