Brian Weaving

I attended a one week duck carving course in Norfolk back in 1989. That led to my joining Severn Wildlife Carvers and eventually my serving on the Committee for some years as Events Organiser. Finding competition a stimulant, I regularly entered carvings in the BDWCA Annual Competition and, over an 11 year period, won 19 awards at various levels. One highlight was organising the BDWCA Annual Competition at Slimbridge in 2006.
I have tried to introduce variety into my own work both in style and through a loose interpretation of what constitutes 'wildlife'. Whilst continuing to carve, my main creative interests now are painting and writing. My latest novel is Death in Store. My first novel is called Death on Demand. All five books and details of where they can be purchased can be viewed here.
